Deep Purple is a British hard rock group that is considered as one of the pioneers of heavy metal music along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Embryo is the creation of Deep Purple Jon Lord who previously played for The Flowerpot Man with other fellow musicians, Chris Curtis, and a businessman who tries to be a music producer, Tony Edwards. In December 1967, Curtis was hired Ritchie Blackmore who was then trying his fortune in Germany with Neil Christian And The Crusaders.
