Celtic Frost music are different from Progressive Metal, especially in complex rhythms, song structures and maintain the traditional instruments / classics, they also use sounds that are not common and opera vocals.
Celtic Frost was first activated in 1984 to 1993, and re-formed in 2001.
Celtic Frost inspired by metal bands like Black Sabbath, Venom and Angel Witch. Gothic Rock like Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Christian Death and Punk Rock band, Discharge.
Celtic Frost inspired genre and Extreme Gothic Metal band, founded many of the elements of music that has since become synonymous with bands such as Sepultura, Pantera, Therion, Dimmu Borgir, Obituary, Emperor, Foo Fighters, Melvins, Paradise Lost, Cradle of Filth , Darkthrone, Nile, and countless others.
After Tom Gabriel Fischer came out in 2008, Celtic Frost decided to break again.
